illimity SGR is led by a team of experts with the necessary expertise and multi-year experience to manage complex situations. Their diversified, integrated skills enable them to adopt the vision that is integral to the ecosystem at illimity, which is a high-tech bank that provides loans to people and businesses with potential.

The current management team consists of Paola Tondelli, Nicola Piras and Pietro Diana.

Paola Tondelli is Head of the Investment Area, with years of experience in restructuring and turnarounds in industries such as energy, construction, textiles and automotive. For nearly 17 years, she focused on restructuring transactions, advising both companies and banks, as a partner at Vitale, a leading independent advisory firm. She is Chairperson of TMA Italia, the Italian branch of the Turnaround Management Association, and a fellow member of EACTP, European Association of Certified Turnaround Professionals, which brings together leading turnaround and business crisis experts in Europe.

Pietro Diana is the Investment Director. He began his career in corporate auditing and company finance at PwC, before moving to Vitale&Co, where he gained substantial experience in valuing companies, one-off financing transactions and debt restructuring in different industries. Next, with the ARC International Group, he oversaw corporate and business development projects, M&As and strategic planning.

Finally, the Operations Director is Nicola Piras. He was on the Operations and Internal Controls team at Clessidra SGR, where he specialised, with increasing responsibility, in typical private equity processes, learning about the formal and operational requirements of the alternative investment industry. After this, he was part of major projects on the post-M&A team at Italmobiliare, helping to integrate BravoSolution - now Jaggaer - and Caffè Borbone into the Group's governance.​
