Fürstenberg SGR’s ESG commitments

Fürstenberg SGR guides the investment decisions of its Funds in accordance with environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations, with the aim of generating sustainable long-term value and enabling responsible development aligned with societal expectations.

This commitment is achieved through:

• a careful integration, within our processes and operating mechanisms, of the requirements set out in the applicable “sustainable finance” regulations, reflected among other things in our ESG Investment Policy.

• our firm adherence to the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), launched by the United Nations in 2006, which Fürstenberg SGR has been a signatory of since February 2023.

ESG factors hold strategic importance for us in creating long-term shared value, taking into account the economic, social and environmental impact  that the companies we invest in may generate within their respective contexts.

From this perspective, Fürstenberg SGR integrates environmental, social and governance considerations into its investment decision-making and fund management processes, recognising that these themes can contribute to sustainable development, while also safeguarding the interests of investors and other stakeholders, and mitigating potential financial, operational and reputational risks.

Fürstenberg SGR is an integral part of the Banca Ifis S.p.A. Group, within which it is committed to establishing Alternative Investment Funds that—consistent with the strategic mission of the asset management company—promote environmental or social characteristics, or a combination of both, provided that the companies in which investments are made follow good governance practices.
